Welcome back to day two at the Willamette Celebration! Everything wrapped up great yesterday with an awesome concert and message presented by Mike Silva. There’s another full line-up today, including a double concert!! The first concert will start at 2:00pm and will be in Spanish and the concluding festival will start at 6:00pm. Come join in the fun!
9:15am | I arrived this morning to see people running around and doing final preparations before the gates open at 10:00am.
10:04am | The gates are open and people are heading over to the mainstage, again with their blankets in hands to reserve their spots!
10:15am | The Fringe Stage is up and running with local performers jamming and rocking the park!
11:00am | The bands are still playing at the Fringe Stage and folks are starting to head over to the FMX area to watch the motocross demo.
11:58am | The Freestyle Motocross is just getting underway!
12:00pm | It’s hot!! Popular items of the day: sunglasses, sun hats, shorts & tank tops, sunscreen, personal fans, air misters & umbrellas!
12:20pm | The food vendors are busy, busy, busy and the lines are starting to build! Grab a few dollars and go get somethnig cold to cool off with! There’s a few ice cream stands as well!! Mmmmm
12:24pm | The Fringe Stage must have taken a temporary break but they’re back up and running. This may be my favorite group yet!!
12:57pm | It’s motocross madness out there!!
1:00pm | The Family Fun Zone is well underway! Up next: Veggie Tales!!
2:00pm | Spanish stage is gettin’ started on the main stage!
2:30pm | Vincente is singing to the crowds!!
3:00pm | Here comes Salvador, you better get your seats quick!!
3:30pm | Brief intro to superstar Jaci Vesasquez and then over to Evangelist Mike Silva and Pastor Luis.
4:00pm | Jaci has come to electrify the crowd!
4:04pm | Folks please remember to hydrate well before you come and while you are here. Those little tykes aren’t the only ones that need the fluids!
4:32pm | The Family Fun Zone is back on the stage with Veggie Tales stealing the show!
5:30pm | We are in action over here at the FMX Demo!
6:00pm | The Main Stage Concert is up and roaring with an opening act of Kevin "KT" Thornton!!
7:03 pm | Currently on stage: SALVADOR!! Next up...welcome Jaci Velasquez!
10:15pm | A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!! Praise the Lord! What a joyous celebration!
