1,2,3...Advertise!

Albany, Oregon.   Yard signs, banners, newspaper and radio advertising have started the campaign to bring attention to Willamette Celebration coming to Albany July 23-25. 

Josh Shadrach and Bill Sheretz, celebration workers, were moving about Albany and Jefferson Monday afternoon to begin the hanging and distribution of 250 colorful banners and the first 3,000 yard signs.  The yard signs were assembled by some 20 volunteers last week Security Alarm Corporation garage in Albany.  SAC president, Mike Martin, is chair of the Willamette Celebration and offered his business space for the task.

 

Albany area radio stations have begun broadcasting commercials announcing the free festival which will feature activities for the entire family.  In the Family Fun Zone people will see world class BMX biking, skateboarding, and motocross plus inflatable play structures and face painting.  Friday evening will feature music artists Skillet, Newsboys and Super Chick. 

Saturday evening is headlined by country singer Phil Vassar, Salvador and award wining Jaci Valasquez.
